This cup holder fixes around the window rubber seal. While in use the window can be closed (fully on normal catch, not vent) or open and remains clamped to the van wall. It has a screw clamp to suit different van wall thicknesses. It also has a small raised edge to capture any minor spillages, but not enough to get in the way and cause an obstruction.
